When triggering Ultradox from a Google Form you can access the submitted data and merge it into your emails, documents etc.

When adding this building block to your flow all variables will become available in the Ultradox Template Editor as well.

This building block allows you to configure default values for the defined form fields. You can thereby run and test your flow right from the Ultradox editor without filling out the linked Google Form. This will make testing a lot faster and easier.

Use cases

  • Receive user input via Google Forms and use it in any other Google document
  • Send customer specific emails (and attached content) based on a forms input

Configuration

Click on the bold text in the title of the building block to open the configuration dialog.

 Reload

Click on the reload icon to scan the template again to track down added or removed variables. If you have renamed your template on Google Drive clicking on this button will also update the document name in Ultradox.

 Edit

Use the edit icon to edit the template in a new browser tab.

 Preview

Click on the preview icon to generate a PDF from your template and open the generated PDF in a new browser tab. Ultradox is now generating a new Google document for the preview as this would generate new files on your Google Drive for each generated preview. The generated PDF document will contain an Ultradox watermark and will not count against your license. The preview is perfectly suited for testing your template without wasting your license during development.

Having a user entering a from and to location in a Google from you can use the Get directions building block to compile the route between the two points.

With the Docs to html building block you can create a html file which processes the directions template and fills them into a template to visualize the route. The html directions can then be sent to the requesting user.
