Print generated PDF documents right from the cloud on any printer that you have connected with the Ultradox Cloud Print server.

Use cases

  • Print beautiful invoices, quotes or reports
  • Print personalized badges and ID cards

Installation

After Google decided to shut down the Google Cloud Print service we have implemented our own Ultradox Print Server as a replacement.

You'll have to install it on your Windows PC that connects to your printers.

Download installer

After downloading and running the installer you can access the cloud print user interface by opening this URL on your machine:

http://127.0.0.1:8989/ucp

In the upper section you will find your Access token that will be the password for your printers to ensure only people with this token can print on your printers.

You will also find the connected printers with all available trays.

To print on a printer right from the cloud you will have to copy the access token, the printer name and the tray name into the Cloud Print building block.

In the lower section you can monitor your print jobs and the status of the Ultradox cloud print service.

Configuration

Click on the bold text in the title of the building block to open the configuration dialog.

Copy the access token, the printer name and the tray name into the configuration dialog.

Useful combinations

You can add multiple print blocks for the same PDF document if you want to print the same document on different printers whenever your Ultradox file gets executed.

If you for example are using Ultradox to generate invoices from your online shop you could print the invoice on your own printer and on the printer in your accountants office whenever a user is buying something from your shop.
