Use cases
- Add contacts to a dedicated group depending on the performed activities
- Use contact groups to execute flows matching the contained users
- Improve structure of your Google contacts
Configuration
Use the bold part in the title of the building block to select the contact group to which the contact(s) should be added.
Useful combinations
Capture customers who responded to an offer
Just as in the Load contact building block an initial offer is sent to new customers. In addition to this example includes a SmartLink to the email.
In case the customer responds to the offer (by clicking the SmartLink) the resumeURL
causes the flow to continue at the building block corresponding to the resume URL. Each building block in your flow has an own URL that can be used to resume the flow at this point.
Resuming at the Add to Group building block the customer is added to the "Recurring customer" group and removed from the "New customer" contact group.
