With this building block you can compress the images in a PDF document and reduce the size of the resulting document.
Use cases
- Compress generated PDF documents before sending them to your customers by email
Configuration
Clicking on given file in the title of the building block lets you pick the desired file from your Google Drive to be compressed.
You can deselect the picked file by clicking on the x
button on the right of the selected filename.
If no file has been picked, Ultradox will load the given file that is stored in the input variable.
When loading files stored in a variable, make sure that the input prefix matches the output prefix of the building block that provides the document.
Click on the bold parts of the title of the building block to open the configuration dialog.
Enter the desired quality of the images in your PDF document.
The lower quality means that you will see more artifacts in your images but the resulting documents will be smaller.
High quality may even increase the size of the compressed document compared to the original PDF document
