The Overlay block will overlay two JPEG or PNG images into one image. The resulting image will maintain the first images dimensions and type. On the second image an opacity will be applied before being overlayed. If the second image has no transparency and has the same size or is larger, using an opacity is highly recommended, otherwise the first image will not be visible.
Use cases
- Merging user generated (e.g. signature) or downloaded (probably dynamically generated) images into a single image.
Configuration
Clicking on given file in the title of the building block lets you pick the desired image from your Google Drive.
You can deselect the picked image by clicking on the x
button on the right of the selected filename.
If no image has been picked, Ultradox will load the given image that is stored in the input variable.
When loading files stored in a variable, make sure that the input prefix matches the output prefix of the building block that provides the document.
Clicking on one the 100 lets you configure the opacity value. It is a percent value with 100 meaning full opacity and 0 being completely transparent.
Clicking on the zeros lets you configure the target coordinates of the overlay. You cannot specify width and height here. Just use a resize/scle block for this.
