Trigger - Forms

With the Ultradox Trigger Add-on you can trigger Ultradox right from Google Forms when a form is submitted.

Responses will be stored in a Google Sheet. You can also trigger Ultradox after the information was added to the sheet.

Installation

Installing the Ultradox Trigger Add-on

If you have added Ultradox from the G Suite Marketplace all Ultradox Add-ons will be installed automatically.

You can also install the addon by clicking on More in the upper right corner of y Google Form and then choose Add-ons....

Just search for “Ultradox” and install the Ultradox Trigger Add-on.

Launch the trigger clicking the puzzle icon in Google Forms and choose Ultradox Trigger followed by Open Sidebar.

If you are opening the trigger from a new Google Form that is not yet connected to Ultradox it will show you a Connect button to connect your Sheet with a new Ultradox file on Google Drive and open it in a new browser tab.

A wizard will then guide you through the basic setup of your flow.

Form Submission

Trigger your flow whenever a user submits a Google Form

A unique feature of Ultradox is the ability to run your configured actions whenever a user submits your Google Form.

To activate the trigger, please click on the button with the puzzle icon in the trigger toolbar. Open the sidebar and switch the trigger setting to active.

Once the trigger is activated you can close the sidebar. Ultradox will now run your configured actions whenever the user submits a form.

Form Variables

Change the name of your form variables

After having created your form by default variables are generated based on the questions you added to your form. Those automatically created variables can be very bulky in case you entered a detailed question.

The Forms Add-on allows you to rename your variables. Just open the Add-on in the sidebar and find the list of variables at the bottom of the sidebar.

Rename variables for them to be easier to use in your Ultradox flow. Please don’t forget to Save the changes.
