Release Notes

This page lists the major changes in each release of Ultradox.

It is intended to help users identify recent changes in behavior.

October 9th, 2018

A new building block has been added that allows you to throw an error in your flow.

The document templates building blocks have been moved into the Document templates section in the sidebar.

The Repeat building block can now handle paging so that you can for example load 10 contacts at a time and the repeat block will take care of loading the next chunk of data at the end of the repeat loop. This can greatly help you to speed up your flow when pausing due to user interaction or suspend/resume blocks as less data has to be persisted.

September 20th, 2018

Default settings for input and output locale as well as default timezone and currency can be configured per file.

September 18th, 2018

A new locale renderer has been added. It allows you to render country or language names from country or language codes.

July 25th, 2018

We have just published a set of new building blocks that allow you to process images in many ways.

Combined with other building blocks you can easily batch process your images or preprocess uploaded images before inserting them into your documents.

July 16th, 2018

New PDF blocks added. You can now process existing PDF documents in various way:

Merge (concat) existing PDF documents, split a document, extract pages, extract text, compress, analyze, stamp, fill PDF forms, lock and unlock.

When updating and inserting rows into a Google Sheet you can now convert numbers, boolean and dates to support multiple locales.

The Save and Cancel buttons in forms in the Ultradox editor have been moved to the toolbar and will indicate if you have unsaved changes.

Custom images can be uploaded for Ultradox Apps.

February 15th, 2018

As Google is deprecating the Google Realtime API we have replaced Google's realtime stack with our own implementation.

Ultradox Apps will now also leverage our native implementation and will run faster.

February 8th, 2018

A new field type has been added to Ultrado forms: Selectable sections

With selectable sections you can create sophisticated forms that show a number of questions based on a selection (either dropdown list or radio buttons).

January 26th, 2018

We have added a help page how to manage your accounts and connections in the Ultradox Editor.

January 21st, 2018

Upload field in Ultradox Forms now supports uploading large files to a public location. You will then get a URL that can be used to embed the uploaded files into your documents or emails.

January 24th, 2018

We are currently working on the authentication flow in Ultradox.

Google has changed the security requirements, so we are working on reducing the initial permissions to installing/launching Ultradox for new users.

When adding building blocks that require additional permissions, the user will then be asked to grant the additional permissions.

These permissions can then be easily revoked in the "Accounts" dialog (main toolbar).
