Invoices for stripe

Add beautiful custom PDF invoices designed with Google Docs or LibreOffice to your stripe account.

Your custom invoices will get archived on Google Drive, linked to your stripe invoices and tracked in a Google Sheet.

You can create different invoice and email layouts for each language that you want to support.

Activation

Connect to stripe

When opening the automation you will be prompted to grant access to the live data in your stripe account.

If you have never used Ultradox before you may also have to grant access to your GMail account so that invoices can be sent on your behalf.

Testing

When working on your invoice template you may want to generate invoices to see how the resulting invoice looks like without waiting for an invoice to be paid.

Just click on the Run button in the main Ultradox toolbar to run the automation using the test data from the first building block to generate an email and a test invoice.

Test vs. Live mode

The automation is in Test mode by default. If you are in test mode, the background color of the main canvas turns green.

All emails will be sent to your email instead of the customer’s email when Test mode is active.

This helps you to test your system under real-world conditions before switching to Live mode.

Customization

Customizing the invoice

You can customize your PDF invoices by simply editing the invoice template using Google Docs or LibreOffice.

This is great as you can simply add images (e.g. add your signature to the document), modify header and footer or add additional content.

When working with Google Docs, make sure to install the Ultradox Template Editor Add-on to get assistance when inserting variables into your template.

You will find a dedicated invoice template for each of the supported languages.

Customizing the contents of the email

You can edit the email templates in the same way as your invoices using Google Docs. Please stick with the fonts that are available on all platforms.

Customizing the email subject

The email subject will be taken from the description of the email template file on Google Drive.

This allows you to enter a dedicated email subject for each of the supported language.

Edit the description of the email subject right on Google Drive by selecting the template file called Email and clicking on Details in Google Drive to edit the description.

Customizing the invoice number format

You can edit the pattern of your invoice numbers in the appropriate form field right in the Ultradox editor.

Adding more languages

You can simply add a new language by creating a new subfolder and giving it the name of the language to be added (2 letters). Please use the correct codes: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2

Printing invoices from the cloud

You can print your invoice right from the cloud whenever a stripe invoice gets paid.

Simply click on the print icon in the building block that generates the PDF document.

You can then select and customize your printer using Google Cloud Print.
